Steroid injections

Musculoskeletal steroid injections can provide relief for a variety of conditions, including arthritis, tendinitis, and bursitis. These injections work by reducing inflammation and swelling in the affected area, which can help to alleviate pain and improve mobility. Additionally, steroid injections can be a less invasive alternative to surgery. It's important to discuss the potential benefits and risks of steroid injections prior to completion of the injection.

Steroid injections require a private prescription, this is something we organise for you and is included in the injection cost. The only additional cost for your self is the prescription this is usually around £10 but depends on the pharmacy you get this from.

Ostenil Injections

Ostenil injections are a type of treatment for osteoarthritis. They work by injecting hyaluronic acid into the affected joint. This helps to lubricate and cushion the joint, reducing pain and improving function. The hyaluronic acid injected has the additional benefit that it restimulates your joint into regenerating its own synovial fluid. Ostenil injections are a safe and effective alternative to surgery or long-term use of painkillers. They can improve joint mobility and quality of life for those suffering from osteoarthritis.
